Welcome Back Kickey

Welcome Back Kickey

| On 26, Sep 2017

There are many new teachers roaming the halls of Hudson Catholic, but one familiar face that sticks out is the newest English teacher, Ms. Jade Kickey, a graduate of Hudson Catholic’s class of 2012. She started her student high school career in McNair before transferring to Hudson, when the School became coed in 2009.

She moved on to Seton Hall University where she studied nursing but then later on changed her major to secondary education and English.

“I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference and help [students] become more confident to help them grow to reach their goals,” Ms. Kickey said.

When asked about her experience here at Hudson Catholic, she began to tell us about the fun experiences she had while she was a student.

“I was on the cheer team and I played softball,” Kickey stated with a smile on her face.

She also offered some advice for current students.
“Make the best of it and don’t rush anything because it will be over before you know it,” Ms. Kickey said.

In her free time, Ms. Kickey enjoys anything that has to do with arts and crafts. She is a big fan of traveling and a huge foodie.

Overall, Hudson Catholic is excited to have Ms. Kickey around as an English teacher and we are looking forward to seeing how she will help the students grow.
