Last Tuesday, Hudson Catholic celebrated Halloween in their costumes. Everyone got the chance to dress up as their favorite characters and things. Since it was Halloween, the Student Council had a pep rally after school. There was a special Halloween-themed cheerleading performance, a costume contest, and fun all around! As the student body cheered on the other sports, they got to Factime the boys’ soccer team in their 1st round state game.

During the pep rally, there were two categories, funniest costumes and best duo costumes. Senior Ashley Batista won the funniest costume as Vector from “ Despicable Me.” Seniors Xavier Stroman and Abraham Yap won best duo costume as Inspector Lee and Detective Carter from “Rush Hour.”  There was also a toilet paper mummifying contest, calling for 4 students had to wrap a whole roll of toilet paper around a faculty member. It was an enjoyable sight. Junior Connor Rodgers won the contest with his “ mummy” Principal Matthews.

It was nice to see students express themselves in their costumes. Not to mention Hudson Catholic’s Faculty dressed in different Harry Potter house robes; it was really “ Hogwarts at Hudson!”
