Fall Pep Rally 2025

Fall Pep Rally 2025

| On 03, Oct 2025

Last Friday, Hudson Catholic held one of its first events of the school year: The Fall Pep Rally! This article is gonna show everything that went down, including sports, games, and which grade ended up as pep rally winners.

As per tradition, the pep rally began by introducing our fall sports teams, which included boys football, girls and boys soccer, girls and boys volleyball, track, and cross country. Later on the cheer team gave us a star-studded routine, and then it was time for the highlight of the day, the games!

Relay Race

There are four markers placed on the gym floor, each being a different length that each team has to run. The players consist of teams of four from each grade. The first player from each team has to run from the shortest length to the longest before passing the baton to the next teammate and so on until the first team to have all four players complete the relay’s first wins. In the end, the junior team, with Max Settles, Linus Gosa, Tony Olacio, and Noah Perez, were crowned champions.

Basketball Shootout

Duo’s from each grade have to make a basket from 5 different angles, with one team member passing the ball to the other, who shoots. After the first teammate makes each basket, the roles are reversed and the attempts continue until one duo wins. The first round started with the freshman facing the sophomores, and juniors versus the seniors. This led to a final face off between sophomores and juniors. In the end, sophomores Jace Caddle and Noah Rogers were victorious

Mummifying Game

The goal was for students to use rolls of toilet paper to mummify the teacher assigned to them, and whoever was able to finish wrapping their mummy first would win. Although Mr. Matthews was hoping for a win in this game, Junior Silas Cunningham won with his mummified Ms. Howel!

Overall, it was a fun day for everyone, but with events like homecoming and the walkathon coming up, there’s plenty more to look forward to!
