Ed Agresta Makes the Days Count

| On 08, Feb 2016

On Thursday, February 4, Hudson Catholic brought in guest speaker Ed Agresta to “get the dragon off the student body’s back.”

Ed Agresta works as a mental skills coach and motivational speaker educating young minds around the country. It was exciting to see a alumn of Hudson Catholic come speak with the student body, because it shows that Hudson Catholic has become a place close to his heart.

Between the quirky motivational phrases like, “Don’t count the days, make the days count,” and his upbeat attitude, he really related to a school that might have just needed that little jolt of positive energy.

Some of the best moments were Ed Agresta teaching us his style of applause, getting the dragon off our backs, and his funny dances.

I cant write this article without smirking and thinking the best part was getting ten dollars from him myself. Agresta held up the bill and asked, “Who wants this ten dollars?” Many students raised their hands, but I knew what he wanted: someone to show the initiative to get up out of his seat and get it, and that someone was I!

All in all, he was one of Hudson Catholic’s more engaging guest speakers, and this reporter is ten dollars richer.
