ATTENTION ALL PROM GOERS! The prom season is here! Everyone should hustle to the dress and tux shops, and be smart at the plate to pick the perfect date. No one wants to strike out during this important season in a senior’s life, and no one wants to lose at the game of prom.

Some adults don’t take this game seriously, but they don’t understand everything that we high school students have to go through to be winning on prom night. We want to hit it out of the park.

For the male players, if you are asking someone to prom, make sure you make it unforgettable! Keep your head in the game! If you don’t make the invitation as sweet as Cracker Jack, you run the risk of striking out.

And girls, don’t be shy to ask someone – it’s not just a one player type of game. A tip on picking the perfect date: go with someone you are comfortable with, whether you are in a relationship and you go with your boyfriend or girlfriend, or you are single and you just go with a close friend.

If you want to go alone, there is nothing wrong with that, either. Anyone can hit a home run, even with no runners on the bases.

Warm up, huddle up, and get ready for an inspirational pep talk: it’s up to us to make this prom a grand slam!
