Despite the absence of Hudson Catholic Basketball star senior Louis King, the team still managed to defeat Dickson 85-65. The game was tight throughout the first half with Hudson Catholic only leading by 7 points. The Hawks used a 25-15 scoring burst in the third quarter to make a big lead. Senior Jahvon Quinerly scored 13 of of the 25 points in the 3rd quarter.

As a team, Hudson Catholic went 29-of-42 (69 percent) including 10-of-15 from behind the arc (67 percent). Jahvon Quinerly had five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 35.

Senior Luther Muhammad added 12 points while freshman Shane Dezonie recorded a career-best 14 points with five rebounds and five assists. Quinerly shot 12-for-17 from the floor and had five rebounds and seven assists to lead Hudson Catholic to victory.
