A Trip to the High Line

A Trip to the High Line

| On 16, May 2023

Last Saturday, five members of the Photography Club, along with the coordinator, Mr. McGady, visited a few attractions in New York City. Together, we headed to Journal Square Path Station and took the train to 33rd Street. Once we got off the train, we walked to New York Penn Station also known as “Moynihan Train Hall.” During our visit, we learned that this train station was once a post office. We then headed to Hudson Yards to visit the Vessel. Due to the tragic events that have taken place, we weren’t able to get the full experience but got to take amazing pictures from the ground level. We then took a short walk to the High Line, which is about a mile long on what used to be a railroad track. Below the High Line, we stopped at Shake Shack for a quick lunch that we all enjoyed. Our last stop before heading back to Jersey City was Little Island Park which is located in Chelsea Pier. The park was absolutely beautiful and included many modern features. Along the way, Mr. McGady mentioned many historical facts throughout a trip to New York City. We had amazing opportunities to take pictures of the marvelous views.
